The Academy of Music is proud to have James Franczek as our resident Celtic fiddle teacher. James has been teaching and performing with his guitar and fiddle in the Oakville, and Burlington area for over 20 years.
As the music director for the Oakville Celtic Fiddle Club James has worked with fiddlers of all ages from all over Ontario sharing his love of Scottish, Irish, and Cape Breton Music.His focus is on the music itself, he believes that it's a lot more fun to learn, and perfect your technique when your actually playing tunes. Whether your in a class or taking private lessons with James you’ll find his love of traditional music and up beat teaching style is just right for learning, and loving Celtic fiddle music.
